Snoop Dogg?
How many of you think that snoop dogg's music is starting to suck? Ever since he got with pharrel (and justin timberlake?) his music went down i loved him when he was with death row and no limit but i really am not down with his music now. I don't even believe it is now hip hop anymore he is going straight into pop!!!

- Anyone that snoops a dog, well what did you think his music would sound like other than crap!
- Well he was hot when he made the stuff with death row like gin and juice & murder was the cae. But the only thing I liked since then was drop it like its hot, snoop is a funny man, but his music is getting bad for instance, what the hell was he thinking when he made beautiful with pharell
- I do not know Snoop Dog I only listen to rock, hardcore. heavy metal and other cool stuff not rap though.
- i think its always sucked
- Regardless of what Snoop is doing, he is always a legend. The fact that he was such a big part in the best album ever made (The Chronic) sealed his place in history forever. I really don't like much of his new stuff, but I did like Beautiful and Signs.
- The 'Signs' track was released by Snoop in a blatant attempt to earn a grammy. This was quoted from the Doggfather himself. T'was also popular with the fans around the world, and was probably, if not the best selling single outside of the US (drop it like its hot hit the #1 spot). The follow up of signs was 'step yo game up' with Lil Jon and Trina. That song is so gangsta. Nothing to worry about really, snoop isn't going all poppy on us. Do you remember Snoop just before he hooked with The Neptunes? He released Tha Last Meal, and before that, No Limit Top Dogg. In my opinion, Top Dogg was a pretty bad album. Tha Last Meal was a banging album with some sweet beats and was probably the best album since he left Death Row. At this point in time Snoop's musical career was at an all time low, and Snoop wanted to get back to the former old days. He had to do something, so he reinvented himself. He hooked up with the neptunes. They helped him make From tha chuuch to the palace, and Beautiful, which got him back in the spotlight. R&G is the epitamy of this relationship, with all first 3 tracks released being Neptune productions. Snoop just rolled with the hottest producers and he got hot results. He might be losing an old fan base, but he's certainly gaining a new one too, who appreciate both his old and his new music. It is ultimately upto you if you choose to embrace the new snoop, because this is how its going to be, as long as it works. All in all though, it was Dr. Dre who made his music great. Dr dre was there in the days of Doggystyle. He wasnt there for 'Tha Doggfather' album. Dre was back on Tha Last Meal. The neptunes substitued Dre on the Bo$$ album. Snoop's next album will be a mix of neptune and dre produced tracks, so this hopefully should be the best one yet since doggystyle :)

- snoop dog is cool and he always will be and pharrel is tight
